Abstract
The study for poetry spirit in Koryo Si-Wha-Jib

Prior to many kinds of methodology and directions of literary education, the suggested problem is 'Why is the literature precious one to teach?' This given question can't clarify only with the fact that literary education has existed. This thesis starts out the discussion, 'What are the effects in literature?' to clarify the question what literary education should be.
To understand literature in the view of effect method, I will grasp the view in the past which the effect method for literature was predominated than this time. On the basis of that view, the thesis is focus on two effects of poetry in Koryo Si-Wha-Jib : 'moving including change' and 'future prophecy'.
First of all, 'moving' in ＂Koryo Si-Wha-Jib＂ is to indicate the phenomenon founded as one subject feels something, and that feeling is moved. At this time, feeling and moving occur in together, which consists of 'moving'. The effect of poetry changing the object through 'moving' can classify two catagories according to the changing object : 'gam-o-in-sim' and 'gam-dong-chunji- guisin'. This term that poetry can move even 'gods of heaven and earth' is to understand that 'gods of heaven and earth' is the essence of nature and the magnified one of the man's heart.
The 'future prophecy' effect of poetry is that the poetry can manage the problem in the future as well as in the present and past. This effect can also classify according to the object propheted. The one case is to foretell the author's future through understanding author's character, and the other case is to prophesy the change of external world of poetry excluding the author. The former is that poem and auther are inseparately related to each other, while the latter is that poem is not closely connected with author.
The effect of poetry that 'gam-dong-chunji-guisin' and 'prophecy' were revealed in ＂Koryo Si-Wha-Jib＂ is to deal with the relationship between the author and the reader as creator and receiver of poetry. The view that the reader and world can change by 'being moved' from literature is to look into the relationship that reading for literature has relation on the reality. On the other hand, the relationship between author and literature revealed 'character foretelling' is that the author should convince himself what he is(was) through the writing.
To take a approach to effect method in literary eduaction can search the aim what literary education should be beyond the analysis of present situation. What the literature should be cannot have only the nature of literature itself but can also relate to the society surrounding the literature and finally the human question.
