A Theoretical Study on Characteristics of Virtual Organization in E-Commerce

In general, Virtual Organizations(VOs) are an appropriated cooperation alternative and competitive advantage for electronic commerce. This paper discussed the relation between electronic commerce and virtual organizations. The present model is described which links virtual organizations and two different functions of electronic commerce. Then, we describe two functions of e-commerce: marketplace and distribution channel.
