The young children play in English, sing in English, listen to stories in English.
During the first few years the children are totally immersed in an English speaking environment and bilingual French-English teaching begins during the final year of nursery school. Our teaching staff consist of both English and French speakers.
For the final year of nursery school (Grande Section de Maternelle):
English studies are based on the "Knock-Knock" audiovisual method. Early learning of how to read in French

La maternelle
-Un projet pedagogique
faire aimer l'ecole aux enfants,
les mener au bilinguisme grace a l'apprentissage precoce de l'anglais, de la meme maniere qu'ils ont appris leur langue maternelle : en jouant, ecoutant, participant a des chants, danses, travaux manuels, jeux…avec un professeur anglophone. Cet apprentissage precoce developpe des capacites de discrimination auditive ainsi que le systeme phonatoire qui leur permettra d'apprendre d'autres langues plus facilement par la suite.
