It was thrilled to watch the musical for me. When I was an elementary student, I was awarded with “Creative Thinking Kid” from the governor by analyzing more than 100 of musicals. It was not my idea, actually my homeroom teacher’s, and I did not want it, but I forced to watch at least 3 musicals every day. After I won, I made up my mind not to watch the musicals again. “Urine Town” is my first musical that I select myself.
It was played on Oct 24, 2009 at XXX Drama Theater. The director of “Urine Town” at XXX was Ryan Mark Weible who is the instructor of XXX Drama department. Actually, its original play was played in Broadway. The first expression that I got was that the equipments for performance were very unique. For example, the stage became the company when the white screen which was hanged on the stage showed UGC, Urine Good Company, and became the police station when it showed the image of bars of prison. There was not great device on the stage, but these devices made this musical unique. Orchestra was also as irregular as title of it. That was consisted of only 3 people. Nevertheless it did not make the song light or feeble while play.
