Have you ever had an experience that completely changed your view on the world? For me, science made that change. The more I learn science, the more I find that all the objects and natural events take on a completely different perspective. Exploration in the scientific world has become my priority.
In High School, my peers and I were selected to represent our school in an EBS (Educational Broadcasting System) TV program called, ”Science Wars”. During the crucial main round, I felt extreme pressure, especially because I was on my favorite TV show. Each team had to use their knowledge in a creative way to solve given tasks. The tiebreaker was to make two balloons on each side of a long stick achieve physical contact to each other without touching them, and the key to the task was the application of Bernoulli’s principle in fluid dynamics. Clapping hard between the balloons would easily solve the problem, and I was aware of Bernoulli’s principle, but unfortunately failed to apply that knowledge.
