Human Rights Group, to act for the lawful democratization - Lawyer for Democratic Society(Minbyun), to protect for the violation of human rights of labor -Labor Human Rights Center etc.
These processes can be definitely separated that 1970s is the occurrence period in the human rights movement, 1980s is the differentiation period and 1990s is the growth period.
The change of the human rights movement organization is happened by the dynamics between the nation and the subject of the movement. In the opening part, the the human rights movement organization in Korea has taken on hostile character to state, but by step neutral organizations are establish.
This change implies that violation is caused by not only a relation with the state but also a relation with individual power and distorted value. It needs the growth recognition of the human rights widely for the protect of the human rights.
To extend the differentiation in the movement of the human rights with the arguments of the human rights, this opinion that the human rights security involve not only the freedom security of body, idea and conscience but also social, economic and cultural rights are raised. As the contents in the human rights movement are various, background to extend the establishment of the human rights organization is as follows. First, the eager to the democratization of people promoted the establishment of the self-regulating movement committee. Second, the cessation of the military authorities and the appearance of the literary government formally extended domain of the civil society. This held the spread possibility of the new social movement. Third, also weakening of radical social revolution movement became the important opportunity to extend the lowest stratum extension in the movement of the human rights.
The movement of the human rights in Korea, however, is placed now in the important turning point. To improve how the value of \"the human rights\" is extended to the notion of the \"rights\" in the globalization of funds and the new liberalism offensive seems to be the common problem of the human rights movement organization. When the occurrence and solution plan of the human rights problem which the active men of the human rights movement organization think are conceptualized to \'the value orientation of the movement of the human rights, the cause of human rights problems result from inequality based on geral power ration involved government power and class relation, and absolute growth policies of capitalism. Though there is a problem to divide the contents of the human rights movement into - civil liberties and social rights - to explain by stages, if \"the human rights\" are looked to the least condition of a life worthy of man, besides, we should positively put our mind to extend the social rights.
