The story of 'Uncle Tom's Cabin' is a story about the blacks of the past. It is also meaningful that this book caused the American Civil War. That is why I read this book. Once upon a time, in America, there were many black slaves. Black people were the same human beings but have not been treated humanely. The whites bought black people as slaves with money. Black people are taken to white homes and live doing hard work. Uncle Tom is one of those blacks. In the end, he is beaten to death by his master.
