1. Introduction
Smoking tobacco on campus causes many problems such as secondhand smoke and cigarette butts. To solve this kind of problem, Korea University has set up many smoking booths on campus. Unfortunately, as smokers prefer not to use smoking booths, the problem hasn't been settled [1]. So it is time to think about a smoke-free campus policy as an alternative to ineffective smoking booths.
This research aims to find out what people think of the present smoking booth policies and a future smoke-free campus plan. According to a study conducted by Seo, Macy, Torabi and Middlestadt [2], the implementation of a smoke-free campus policy may be an effective intervention for reducing tobacco use among college students.
