We briefly looked at LISP, the oldest computer language to date. Since LISP is also the oldest computer language along with FORTRAN, it is true that it has influenced many other computer languages that have existed.
However, as it is an old language, there is definitely a difference from the computer languages used today. Especially, as we\'ve seen above, we find that the program structure and the program grammar that utilize it are different. For example, Prefix Notation is a very unique notation. In addition, macro capabilities like defstruct macro show that they have the ability to use new definitions that are not previously available, giving them advantages that are incomparable to other computer languages.
However, since LISP is very old, it is becoming a computer language that is not being used these days. As such, we had time to briefly explore various aspects of LISP, such as its birth, pros and cons, and the use of function macros.
