Contralateral hemiplegia, hemianesthesia, homonymous hemianopsia(양쪽 눈의 왼쪽편이 실명, 왼쪽으로부터의 자극에도 적절히 반응하며 자신의 시각손실에 대해 알고 보상함)

ICA의 폐쇄는 전형적으로 MCA가 공급하는 뇌의 부위에 massive infarction을 만듦

ICA는 ACA와 MCA에 피를 공급하므로 ACA와 MCA의 부위에 extensive cerebral infarction이 발생할 수 있음

Uncal herniation(뇌구상성 탈출증), coma, death 등을 동반
