zontal plate의 lateral edge와 융합한다.
Pyramidal process - horizontal plate와 perpendicular plate의 결합부에서 外側으로 뻗은 돌기
Posterior surface - medial pterygoid m.의 일부가 기시
Lateral surface - maxilla의 tuberosity와 결합한다.
Base - horizontal plate와 융합하여 이곳에 lesser palatine n.와 vv.이 통과하는 lesser palatine foramen
Orbital process - perpendicular plate에서 上外側으로 뻗음
Articular surface
Anterior (maxillary) - maxilla와 관절
Posterior (sphenoidal) - sphenoidal conchae와 관절
Medial (ethmoidal) - ethmoid의 labyrinth와 관절
Nonarticular surface
Superior orbital - orbit의 下壁의 후부를 이룬다.
Lateral - inferior orbital fissure를 이룬다.
Sphenoidal process
Superior surface - medial pterygoid plate의 roof
sphenoidal concha의 下面과 관절
Medial surface - nasal cavity의 lateral wall 일부
Lateral surface - medial pterygoid plate와 관절
Medial border - vomer의 ala
Anterior border - sphenopalatine foramen의 후방경 계를 이룬다.
Posterior border - medial pterygoid plate의 vaginal process와 관절한다.
Orbital process와 sphenoidal process 사이에 sphenopalatine notch가 있고, sphenoid bone의 inferior surface에 의해 sphenopalatine foramen을 이룬다.
Inferior nasal concha 下鼻甲介 - 2個
Nasal cavity의 lateral wall을 따라 水平으로 뻗어간 것
Medial surface - numerous apertures가 있다.
Lateral surface - inferior nasal meatus의 일부 형성
Superior border - maxilla, lacrimal bone, ethmoid, palatine과 관절한다.
전방은 maxilla의 conchal crest
후방은 palatine의 〃
중간은 lacrimal process
ethmoid 〃
maxillary 〃
Inferior border - free
Vomer 鋤骨
正中央에 있고 Nasal septum의 후하부를 이룬다.
Surface에는 blood vessel이 통하는 작은 furrow (溝)가 있다.
Nasopalatine groove에는 nasopalatine n. 와 vv.

Lacrimal bone 淚骨 - 2個 (제일 작고 약한 뼈)
Lateral (orbital) surface는 vertical ridge에 의해 posterior lacrimal crest에 의해 두 部分으로
前方에 Lacrimal sulcus는 longitudinal groove이고 maxilla의 frontal process와 결합하여 lacrimal fossa를 형성한다. 이 fossa의 上部에는 lacrimal sac이 있고
下部에는 nasolacrimal duct가 놓여있다.
後方은 orbit의 內側壁을 이루고 있다. posterior lacrimal crest에는 orbicularis oculi의 lacrimal part가 기시
下端에는 Lacrimal hamulus가 있고, 이 hamulus는 lesser lacrimal bone과 떨어져 있다.
Medial (nasal) surface
Longitudinal furrow가 있다. middle meatus의 일부를 형성
後方은 ethmoid와 관절한다.
Anterior border는 maxilla의 frontal process
Posterior border는 ethmoid의 lamina orbitalis
Superior border는 frontal bone
Inferior border는 posterior lacrimal crest에 의해 2 parts
posterior part는 maxilla의 orbital plate와,
anterior part는 inferior nasal concha의 lacrimal process 와 각각 관절한다.
Zygomatic bone 觀骨
뺨의 융기 orbit의 外側 下壁 temporal의 bony wall, infratemporal fossa를 이룬다.
Lateral surface
Zygomaticofacial foramen에는 zygomaticofacial n. 와 vv.
이 foramen 下部 에는 Zygomaticus minor
Levator labii superioris가 기시
上部 에는 Zygomaticus major
Temporal surface
Zygomaticotemporal foramen이 있고 Zygomaticotemporal n.가 통과
Orbital surface
Zygomatico-orbital foramen이 있고, Zygomaticofacial과 Zygomati-cotemporal foramen이 교통한다.

Posteroinferior border - masseter m.이 부착
