들판에
풍성한 자연이 아낌없이 쏟아 내는 꽃,
그곳은 아침 해가 처음으로 따뜻이 들판에 비치고,
햇빛 안 드는 숲 그늘로 대낮의 정자가 어두워지는 곳,
이렇게 이곳은 여러 경치의
행복한 전원.

Rolling on Orient Pearl and sands of Gold,
With mazy error under pendant shades
Ran Nectar, visiting each plant, and fed
Flow'rs worthy of Paradise which not nice Art
In Beds and curious Knots, but Nature boon
Pour'd forth profuse on Hill and Dale and Plain,
Both where the morning Sun first warmly smote
The open field, and where the unpierc't shade
Imbrown'd the noontide Bow'rs: Thus was this place,
A happy rural seat of various view.
