본문내용
들만의 문제가 아니라 좀더 일찍 어린 아동들에게까지 개입해야 할 시급한 문제이다. 요즘 들어 인터넷 자살 사이트와 관련한 동반자살이 늘고 있고, 이 여파는 십대아동과 청소년들의 자살율을 높이고 있다. 살면서 겪게 되는 여러 가지 문제와 스트레스를 대처할 능력과 기술을 배우고 익혀야 할 십대들이 이런 문제를 해결하고 극복하기 위한 능력을 쌓을 생각은 안하고, 자살이란 방법으로 문제와 괴로움으로부터 벗어나려는 탈출구를 찾으려는 것인 자살을 시도하는 십대들만의 문제가 아니다. 그들이 지니는 미래에 대한 희망 없음과 자신에 대한 무능감과 무가치감을 그대로 놔두는 것은 그들보다는 미래의 우리 사회의 희망 없음과 성인들의 무능감을 대변하고 있는 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 더 이상 방치해서는 안 되는 십대들의 자살을 예방하기 위한 대책마련과 실제적인 프로그램마련과 실시가 보다 적극적으로 학교장면에서는 물론이고, 전국의 상담실, 복지관과 종교단체에서 활발히 전개되어야겠고, 보다 실제적이고 효과가 높은 자살예방 프로그램들이 많이 개발되어야 할 것이다. -326-
