Where has teachers' authority gone? “Why do you care? It’s my own business.” These days, Korean teachers have less respect from students and less freedom to teach students. For example, at a high school in Gyeongsangbuk-do, a student assaulted a female teacher on May 15th. This incident happened on Teacher’s day, which makes it all the more shocking. However, there are many undocumented cases because most teachers simply put up with similar accidents.
