Abstract
An empirical study on the trade process improvement of electronic data interchange
Lee, Je-hyun
EDI( Electronic Data Interchange ) means the electronic transfer from computer to computer of information using an agreed standard . Explore the effect of EDI systems on trade business process improvement and customer focus and the moderating effect revenue increase and decrease on the relationship between EDI system and trade business process improvement, EDI system and customer focus.
The results of study support the hypotheses that EDI systems spanning between the exporters, carriers, insurers, bankers, customs administration have a direct and significant relationship with trade business process improvement. The revenue was found to moderate the relationship between EDI system and trade business process improvement.
