Wall Street explores the interactions between stockbrokers, lawyers, and corporate honchos and the choices they make to get what they want.
This movie is very much about these interpersonal relationships and individuals trying to gain power or exert power. The events that occurred and the decisions the characters made revolved around deciding on what was important to them, what they wanted, and how they got what they wanted.
In analyzing this case, we focused on three main characters: Gordon Gekko is a very wealthy investor and in the business of getting rich buying and selling companies; Carl Fox is a hard working, blue collar man who cares about his job, his morals, and his fellow workers; and Bud Fox, a young, ambitious stock broker who toils between success at any cost and his own values.
