The Relationship Between Leisure Participation and College Satisfaction of University Students

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between Leisure participation and College satisfaction of university students. Specifically, it aims to examine (1) differences in types and levels of Leisure participation by the Socio-demographic factors (2) differences in College satisfaction by the types and levels of Leisure participation.
The background variables of the study were sex, age, pocket-money, score and health. The independent variables were the type and level of Leisure participation. The dependent variable was College satisfaction. The data were analyzed with Multiple Regression Analysis, Ancova and Path Analysis.
It is concluded that socio-demographic factors of college students are directly related to the participation extent and type. According to the college students participation type and extent of leisure activity, college satisfaction are increased, through increased leisure participation. Therefore, the quality of life in college students is enhanced directly.
