Argumentative Essay

Homework is a learning tool or a work which teachers give to students with their educational purpose. This may be helpful to students for their improvement. On the other hand, homework is defective for true learning due to its absence of subject, academic meaning and effects.
The first reason for the agreement is that the teacher cannot realize who did the homework, that is to say absence of subject. Students do their homework away from teachers’ eyes. Therefore, it is hard to know the actual worker of the homework if it is from internet or tutor. Homework is worth when student does it by his/herself.
Secondly, homework signifies nothing when students do not have interests on the homework’s contents. Homework exists for boosting students’ spontaneity and academic skills together. However, students who do not have interests on it, do their homework mandatorily. They lose their spontaneity, so true learning loses its real meaning.
