A Study on the Policy of Social Work for the Youth after the Unifikation in Germany

The social Welfare law for the youth in Germany begins mit the administration of Weimar Republic in 1920'. Through lots of debatts and revisions this historical tradition of constitionality leads to the Youth Helping Law in 1993. Today the Policy of the social welfare for the youth in Germany is oriented at this law. The law focuses newly on the care, protection and help for the youth. However, it is most important in this law that the welfare policy for the youth should be family social work.
In conclusion, with the new legisiation of this the distributive policy is transformated into the investing policy for the youth welfare in dimension of political hardware. On the other side, in the aspect of contents and methods the character of the new policy should be not only therapeutic, but also preventive to solve the youth problem.
