III. 결 론
국체협은 국민들이 여가 및 스포츠 활동을 할 수 있는 보다 건강하고, 손쉽고, 평등하며, 즐겁게 참여할 수 있는 다양한 시설 및 프로그램을 제공하는 노력이 필요하다. 특히, 많은 여가 및 스포츠 시설들은 대도시에 편중 되어있고, 대도시 안에서도 특정지역에 몰려있는 상황이다. 따라서, 국체협은 소외된 계층이나 지역사회가 골고루 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이다. 특히 법적 지위 확보와 직원의 IMF이전 수준으로 환원, 그리고 과학적이며 체계적인 경영시스템을 도입하지 않고서는 주5일 근무제에 따른 생활체육 수요와 욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 없을 것이다. 결론적으로, 국체협은 시설, 프로그램, 지도자, 행정, 교육 측면에서 체계적이며 과학적인 접근을 시도해야 함을 강조하는 바이다.
