Made of Camphor and Gopherwood(1977), Mirabai Versions(1984), What Have I Ever Lost by Dying?: Collected Prose Poems(1992) 등이 있고 최근에 낸 시집으로는 Snowbanks North of the House(1999), The Night Abraham Called to the Stars(2001)가 있다. 그는 잡지 The Sixties(The Seventies, The Eighties)의 편집자로 일하면서 많은 유럽 시인과 남미 시인을 미국에 소개하였고, Lorca, Neruda 등 여러 시인들의 시들을 번역하기도 하였다. 일본의 하이쿠도 많이 번역했다. 현재 미네소타 주에 있는 한 농장에서 살고 있다.
