지만 사회 모든 제 현상과 마찬가지로 국제 관광 역시 그 경제적 측면에서 긍정적 효과 뿐 아닌 부정적 효과 또한 야기 하는것이 사실이다. 이러한 현상을 직시하고 그 긍정적 효과의 극대화와 분석과 조정을 통한 부정적 요소의 최소화는 국제 관광이 궁극적으로 나아갈 방향이다.
