기타 비교급 표현
① more A than B " B라기 보다는 A이다." 동일인 비교할 때 쓰인다.
He is more a teacher than a writer
= He is a teacher more than a writer

그는 작가라기보다는 선생님이다.
② the + 비교급
비교 요소는 정관사 "THE"와 함께 쓸 수 없지만 예외적으로 "of the two, for 등과 함께 쓸 수 있다.

샐리는 두 개 중에서 더 좋은 라디오를 가지고 있다.
③ 대동사 사용
than이하에서 동사를 생략하는 경우와 생략하지 않는 경우가 있는데 후자의 경우에 대체어의 일종인 "대동사"로 표기한다. 즉, be동사와 조동사는 그대로 쓰고, 일반 동사는 do동사로 대체해서 쓴다.

비교급은 "many, much, far, a lot, a little, rather, even" 부사의 수식을 받는다.
