본문내용

Term Globalization can be defined as a phenomenon, where capital, labor, product, service, technology, information and etcetera becomes organized, traded, and arbitrated over the boundaries of sovereignty, ideology and border. Therefore, it increased trade between various nations of the international world, but it has a tendency of degrading the authority of pre-existing sovereign countries.
From economical view, evidence of globalization can be found quite easily. One is its increase in productivity. In Gregory Mankiw’s Principles of Economics, he proposes that a nation’s standard of living can be evaluated by its productivity. With a simplified model of this proposition, we can find some easy examples. In past days, a nation had to produce all of the products it needed, but now by trading with other nations, the nation can produce what they can cost-efficiently produce, and trade it for something else that it needs. This stimulated the need for trade, and the need for quick communication and transport, which lead to more technological advances.
