He underlined the concept of ascension, that humans living in a low places must to climb to God, who dwells in a high place. In order to climb to God, humans must be similar to Him . However, he cannot be similar to God by his own effort. Therefore, because effort is insufficient, he needs to receive God’s grace. The similarity means that human become similar to Jesus. He contended that to climb toward God, human also must make an effort to have a holy and pure love. Here, he said that the only way to God was a love that is not mixed with other impurities.
