Today, movies based on the novels are getting a lot of attention in movie industry. Novels usually have well organized stories and constructions, and if those are famous, it would be easier for the movies to get attention from the people than others. Also, people actually look forward to watching it, especially when they already read or know those books. However, these kinds of movies don’t get positive response from the people all the time because it is not easy for directors to keep up with the novels’ whole story and the expectation people have with only 2 hours movie. Therefore, these movies require open mind to the people which can accept some differences. With above reasons, the movies made based on novels always have a lot of issues and directors and audiences should try to keep up with each other and movie itself to have much better movies.
First of all, there are a lot of movies based on the novels these days and people are actually excited when they find their favorite movies in theater. Especially after the successes of the big hit movies such as “The Lord of the Ring” and “Harry Potter” in 2001, many movie directors have been trying to make these kinds of movies. Therefore, since then, it has been a kind of fad in movie industry especially with fantasy novels. Also, it situation helps the publish industry because movies’ success make people have interesting in original novels.
