4.Purpose of the Lesson
It is common to ask what kind music one likes in our daily lives. In this chapter, students learn how to ask and answer to those questions. First of all, they learn to ask what music their friends like, draw others’ attention and express their feelings when they are surprised. Then, they notice the expressions in dialogs in the textbook for further study. By looking at some interesting facts, they get initiated to pay their attention to the reading in the textbook, too. Since music is part of our lives, students can associate what they have learned with the real talk in their authentic life.
5.General Objectives
A.Students can understand vocabulary and expressions used in asking about questions related to music.
B.Students can express their thoughts and how they feel about music in English.
C.Students can ask what belongs to whose, how to call other attention to initiate a talk.
D.Students learn some interesting facts on plants’ characteristics.
