An invented prose narrative that is usually long and complex and deals with human experience through a connected sequence of events.
└→ Plot : 인과관계에 의한 스토리 전개

- 허구적인 산문체 이야기
- 상당한 길이의 복잡한 이야기
- 삶을 다룬 이야기
- 일련의 인과관계에 의한 사건의 전개. 즉 Plot을 지닌 이야기

The novel is the last major literary form to have developed.
There was plenty of fiction : epics, ballads, anecdotes, fables,
Folk-tales, myths, legends.

•거짓말과 소설의 차이
거짓말은 남을 속이기 위한 것, 소설은 교훈을 얻기위한 것으로 둘다 공상적이나 그 목적이 다르다.
