Those who do not make efforts have no right to repent. This phrase is the very one that I always want to accomplish, which is written on my notebook. This is the very phrase that I have written myself after firmly resolving I would never repeat to repent. In fact, I frequently failed to make my plan come true. Thanks to this phrase, now I am able to let my plans be done one by one.
저는 모든 일을 대함에 있어 진실과 최선을 강조하시는 부모님 밑에서 1남 3녀 중 차녀로 자랐습니다. 아버지께서는 저희들에게 엄격하시지만 ‘최선이란 게 이런 것이다’ 는 것을 몸소 실천하며 보여주셨고 어머니는 다정한 친구처럼 고민이 있으면 서슴없이 털어놓고 상담을 할 정도로 편안함과 사랑을 저희에게 많이 보여주셨습니다. 이런 부모님 밑에서 저는 자연스럽게 매사에 최선을 다하는 태도와 실패를 두려워하지 않는 강한 아이로 자라게 되었습니다.
I was grown as a second daughter out of four children in the family where my parents always emphasize to do the best in every thing. My father tried to prove the way he was doing best and my mother always expressed her deep love caring us just like friend, which allowed us to confer our facing problems freely. Under this family environment, I was grown as a strong child who would do the best always and would not worry about the failures occurred.
저의 장점은 앞서 말한바와 같이 실패를 두려워하지 않는 용기를 지녔다는 것입니다. 또한 소탈하고 타인에 대한 배려심이 깊어 친구들이 형이라 부르며, 상담을 자주 요청하곤 합니다. 그러나 완벽한 사람이란 있을 수 없듯이 나 자신을 많이 믿는 성격으로 중요한 일을 결정하는데 있어서 좀 더 신중하지 못하다는 점이 있습니다. 저의 이런 단점을 고치기 위해 타인의 말에 좀 더 귀를 기울이도록 노력하고 있으며 다양한 서적을 접함으로써 이런 성격을 보완하고자 노력하고 있습니다.
As wirtten above, I would dare to proclaim my strength lies in the fact that I would not be afraid of the failure. Due to this strength of my character, my friends often ask my advice on their problems. They call me "big brother" since I am sincere and concerned. However, as there is a saying "there is no perfect human", I believe I am not thoughtful enough in making important decisions now that I trust myself too much. In order to correct this defective character, I try to listen more carefully to others and to fill in the defects by reading various books nowadays.
제가 법에 대해 처음 관심을 두게 된 계기는 어렸을 때 우연히 보게 된 법 관련 서적을 보고서였습니다. 현재 기억이 잘 나지는 않지만 한 사건에 있어 해석하는 관점에 따라 사건의 운명이 달라진다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 그 후 법에 관련된 다양한 책을 접하고 싶었으나 전문적 지식을 요하는 책으로 읽기가 쉽지 않았습니다.
그때부터 내가 진정 하고자 하는 공부는 바로 이것이다 싶었습니다.
My interest in law begins with my reading law-related book by chance during the childhood. Although I do not recall clearly, I happen to know that the results of the law-cases are resulted in different ways depending on the case-study. I really wanted to read a variety of law books. But you know those books require professional knowledge on you. So I had kind of hard time to go through them. From then, I said to myself, "this is what I really want."
현재 저의 꿈은 법에 관련한 대한민국 최고의 유능한 경찰이 되는 것입니다. 아직은 많이 벅차지만 제가 그 꿈을 포기하지 않고 조금씩 노력해 나간다면 머지않아 꿈을 이룰 수 있을 거라 자신합니다.
my dream is to be the best cop in Korea. I am not enough for my dream. but if I don't give up and make the most effort on it, I believe that I could make it in the near future. So I want you to accept me and my valuable dream.
