1.1 Background of the study
Open economic perspective has been defined in numerous ways by many disciplines. Indeed, we even find numerous definitions of Open Economy within the economics literature. However, a common to most open economic definitions is the existence of free trade with abroad. This condition may not include many different levels of economic situations and industry of each country. This condition may apply to individuals, households, villages, or even larger groups of people. Furthermore, when applied to the relationship between power nations and weak nations, we find that such complex sets of economic structures frequently dangerous to weak nations. In this manner, this study derived from the curiosity that how open economy system which has an unchangeable common principle like above can be applied in each different country.
1.2 Necessity and Objectives of the study
Although we frequently fail to recognize it, a number of development projects have dimensions that may be characterized as the open economy based on social structures. By International Trade, I mean the intent to exchange resources of national industry we have not been achieved within our country with enormous benefits, presumably to increase the welfare of people. The focus of this thesis is on the potential to international trade in order to improve livelihoods in Zimbabwe, and this focus will be pursued from an open economic perspective.
1.3 Scope
Since our purpose of this study is to find out a triangular relevance between politics, economics, and the development amount of a Zimbabwe, this study is conducted within arranges of political economy and open economy perspective.
CHAPER 2: METHODOLOGY
2.1 Research Methodology
Due to the sensitive nature of the subject, qualitative approaches were used in trying to gain knowledge on political, historical, and economical situation in Zimbabwe. The tools were Internet, Books, Thesis materials, Magazines about Zimbabwe, and etcetera. A study on open economy towards open economy system in Zimbabwe through the linkage between politic system and economic growth will heavily support the process of economic transformation in Zimbabwe. Therefore, this study will be undertaken to verify some aspects of the means-ends relationships by focusing on economical policies and efficiency in government by means of politic structures and administrative reform.
2.2 Research Limitation
Since we have studied about Zimbabwe which is one of far most country from Korea, we should conduct our research only by depending of indirect research methodology. However, all of us tried to gain accurate and recent information about Zimbabwe.
