1. Fas
1) 구성
- glycosylated cell-surface protein
- 325-335의 amino acids residues
- 45-52kDa
- 유전자 위치(human - chromosome 10 long arm, mouse - 19)
2) thymus, heart, kidney, mature lymphocyte, virus-transformed lymphocyte에 풍부하게 존재
3) Rec.의 조절은 생리학적으로 필수 적이다
- 다양한 mechanisms에 의하여 tight하게 regulation됨
- Golgi network를 형성하여 plasma membrane의 Rec.수를 조절한다
4) Fas mediated apoptosis 는
- modulated by glycosylation
- Fas expression의 조절에 의해 조절 될수 있음(NF-κB : promoter, p53 : first intron)
* p53에 의해 apoptosis동안 Fas와 FasL의 expression을 upregulation함
