What is the purpose of pastoral care?
Why do we engage in pastoral care?
There’s a need to help people through their problems.
It provides a religious perspective on human struggles.
Manifests the love of God.
When we think about pastoral care and try to trace its ultimate reason, we are driven to the glory of God.
Of course, we all know that we’re to do everything for the glory of God.
But, we need to think deeply about this most important theme. Otherwise, things will get in the way.
