요 약
유아용 읽기 태도 척도는 4, 5세 유아의 읽기 태도를 평가하기 위해서 개발된 3점 평정 척도이다. 4, 5세의 발달에 적합한 척도를 개발하기 위하여 문항의 내용을 그림으로 표현하였다.
읽기에 관한 관계문헌과 유아 혹은 아동의 읽기 태도에 관련된 기존 척도를 검토하여 31개의 문항을 일차적으로 선정하였다. 31문항의 내용타당도를 유치원 교사와 유아교육과 교수가 평가하여
14개의 문항을 선정하였다. 예비검사를 거쳐서 유아들의 문항이 해도와 검사 실시상의 문제점을 알아본 후에 185명의 4, 5세 유아들에게 본 검사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과 유아의 읽기 태도 점수는 유아의 선호도 점수, 읽기 능력에 대한 유아의 지각 점수, 그리고 읽기 태도에 관한 교사의 평가와 의의 있는 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으므로 공인 타당도가 있다고 할 수 있다. 문항분석 결과 각 문항이 읽기 태도가 높은 사람과 낮은 사람을 변별할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 읽기 태도 검사의 기우반분신뢰도나 내적일 관성계수가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
