Good morning, everyone. My name is Erik from Erik Consulting. As you know, your company has gone through a lot of accidents on the sites of constructions. As you asked before, I tried to figure out that what the problems are you have and how you could reduce accidents so far. Now, I am going to begin by pointing your situations and then I would show you what the problems are. And lastly, I will give the solutions.
By mentioning about your situation briefly, the accidents have happened for various reasons in 150 construction sites that each site has more than 50 employees. As you could see in the first graph you offered, the most of accidents are happening at around break times and end of regular working time. And also the biggest cause of accident is negligence of employees depending on the second graph. Besides, according to the contents of interviews, injured employees have many systematic complaints. But it is ascertained that they lack recognition of safety.
Well, from this time, let me point out the detailed problems.
First, most proportion of accidents are occurring at around the tea breaks. It is due to that people could get inattentive in that time. In fact, it is mentioned in the second interview that he had talked with his colleague. At those times, it is very easy to be mentally loosened and also very hard to concentrate on the job.
Second, at the moment just prior to the closing time, the largest factor is the failure to follow procedures.
