My Visit at the Museum
The four white walls stretching far apart from each other and the shiny wooden floor all hint at immensity and silence. Yet the museum was far from being large and quiet when I went there with my friends to view Diego Rivera’s The Flower Carrier. It was a sunny day and the short walk from the Bart station to the museum was very pleasant. When we got inside, we saw several groups of people, each with their own guide. One group in particular caught my attention. They were mostly women of different ages. Some of them were looking curiously at the paintings while their guide was talking in what seemed to be interminable sentences. One was looking distractedly at the subject of their guide’s discourse while she was jotting down details. She was throwing glances at different corners, as if she would rather see other paintings. Anyway, I brought this up because I enjoy observing other people while they are at the museum.
