소개글

한국의 영어교육에 대한 보고서 자료입니다.

목차

This is a continuation of my series about learning English in Korea. While last time I have focused on some of the problems with studying English in Korea, I would like to give some improvement recommendations this time.

I spoke to the mother of two children in elementary school the other day about the English education of her children. Both attend a regular school, a cram school for all subjects and have now a private English tutor. On average they come home close to 11 pm, although they are only 13 years old… Considering that children that age should mainly play and have fun and that I attended school from only 7:45 to 12:30 (no cram school, no tutor) until entering the leading business university in Europe this hurts to hear. But at the same time we have to ask ourselves, how much more can children study? Bearing in mind how important recreation and sleep are for the development of young minds, I think the answer is they are already working WAY too much.

본문내용

ter under higher stress, especially not if you try to get them to do well at an intellectual task such as learning English. If you reduce the pressure and instead of only talking about scores when the topic “English” comes up, talk about how children can actually use English and how that would be fun for them, you might be surprised to find that success comes easier and motivation last longer.
