We figured that Cold Stone has problems with their emplacement. Therefore, Cold Stone could improve their strategies to compensate the problems. Cold Stone is an urgent need to increase the number of stores on a priority basis due to the current limited number of stores. Attracting various customers due to how small their visibility is in the streets. In big cities or in Seoul for example, there are relatively few Cold Stone stores. Thus, it will be better to open new stores in the new town. Also, increasing the width of the distribution network can be one effective alternative method. The width of distribution is too narrow because Cold Stone only sell the products by relying on their own physical stores. It will be a good idea to sell some ice cream like Haagen-Dazs and Naturru in the convenience store or mart in the form of a finished product. Change is also required in the store design. Shop-in-Shop form of stores is recommended for take-out, but nowadays, more and more customers require a place where they can sit down and rest. Therefore, increasing the size of the store or changing the internal interior in the store to make more comfortable place is important. If customers need a convenient place to stay and talk, they may overlook Cold Stone as an alternative and visit other shops that offer this type of convenience. Furthermore, in the way of promotion, it is necessary to show up more aggressive and active attitude. At the same time to maintain existing customers, Cold Stone must make an effort to attract new customers with, for example, online promotions or contests, which will help to increase the word-of-mouth.
