A Study on the Efficient Supervision and
Regulation for Korea Stock Market

I tested the effect of the direct demand adjustment policy(called hereafter DDAP) in Korea stock market and found the DDAP showed no significant effect as intended.
Therefore, relying on DDAP should be avoided. Instead the regulatory authority must strengthen the regulations on the insider trading, manipulation of stock price and disclosure of corporate information.
To improve the regulation on the insider trading, I suggest the followings; 1. enlargement of the scope of insider, 2. enlargement of inside information, 3. introduction of Chinese wall, ect.
To improve the regulation on manipulation of stock price, I suggest the followings; 1. inforcement of stock watch system, 2. enactment of special regulatory act for manipulation of stock price, ect.
To improve the regulation on disclosure of corporate information, I suggest the followings, 1. enlargement of the information in registration statement, 2. diversification of the form in registration statement, 3. improvement of information channels, 4. enhancement of the reliance level of audit report, ect.
