The purpose of this study was to critically examine cognitive activities in the frame of working memory. We explored the model of working memory based on activation, and we reviewed individual difference studies on capacity limits that is important characteristics of working memory. We discussed how to have individual difference of working memory an effect on language comprehension and that we discussed skill acquisition process as method to overcome cognitive resource limits. It was discussed about concept of working memory, important theoretical issues of working memory, evolutionary implication of working memory capacity.
