Another piece of evidence for historical reliable of the Gospels is that, the genealogy of Jesus records from Abraham to Jesus Christ. According to Matthew 1:1-16, especially there are 4 women in the genealogy of Jesus such as Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Uriah’s wife. These women mean that the Gospels were written by writers who were lived in a historical fact because commonly theses women are inappropriate to the genealogy of Jesus which is great family. In fact, Tamar was a Judah’s wife, Rahab was a prostitute, Ruth was a gentile and Uriah’s wife was other man’s wife. In spite of this, the writers of the Gospels were wholly recorded Jesus’ genealogy. The record of these women might leads to hindrance about the purity of the Christ. Therefore, the Gospels have the evidence for the historical reliable.
