A development of sub-motor skills by analyzing
mat exercise tasks in gymnastics

This study was conducted to develop sub-motor skill categories for mat exercise by analyzing mat exercise in gymnastics. Leaning task were divided by the mat exercise patterns. Then, the divided learning tasks were used to develop sub-motor skills based on learning order. The developmental analysis of sub-motor skills indicated an analyzing method. If subjects follow the developed sub-motor skill categories one after another, they can easily perform the mat exercise. It is believed that teachers may have benefits if they applied this method for their classed. It is suggested that when teachers apply this method should not chose a level of task being performed. Instead of choosing the level, it is desire that whole parts should be taught.
