The Effect of The Psychodrama Program on the self-concept of school maladjustment adolescences

The school maladjustment of a adolescences group becomes aggravated and is on the increase. It is comprised of a suicide, forming malformed character, a breach of sex, violence, a juvenile delinquent and various problems.
But there is much to be desired to develop group activity and to approach to the point owing to lack of consultation and programs for school maladjustment students. The purpose of this research is to carry out the psychodrama program for the school maladjustment student and analyze the effect of this activity.
The group activity through the psychodrama is used to various fields and objects. Specially it makes self-concept of delinquent students more positive.
The major function of the psychodrama is to make the delinquent students, who are apt to be swept in a crowd, settle their problem and get a catharsis from playing as a hero.
The definite purpose of this research is :
to perform a psychodrama for the delinquent students. It can make negative self-concept of the delinquent students more positive and higher.
to analyze how their self-concept are changed before and after the psychodrama.
The result of this research was that :
First, before the psychodrema, the student with high level self-concept is 1(3.4%), the students with middle level self-concept are 12(41.4%), the students with low level self-concept are 16(55.2%).
After the psychodrama, the students with high level self-concept are 7(24.1%), the students with middle level self-concept are 17(58.6%), the students with low level self-concept are 5(17.2%). This result means that self-concept of the objects changed positve after the psychodrama.
Second, this result proved that the delinquent students had meaningful changes in their self-concept by the psychodrama.(t=­7.086, df=28, p<.00)
Third, the research showed that the psychodrama made the students get significant changes of their self-esteem.(t=­5.453, df=28, p<.00)
Fourth, this result proved that the interpersonal-relationship of the delinquent students affected by the psychodrama.(t=­6.957, df=28, p<.00)
Fifth, it showed that the psychodrama gave the students positve emotional stability.(t=­3.671, df=28, p<.00)
Sixth, the problem-solving capacity is influenced positve by the psychodrama.(t=­3.767, df=28, p<.00)
Seventh, the result proved that the students got positve interpersonal trust from the psychodrama.(t=­4.032, df=28, p<.00)
