7. Daeneungwon & Cheonmachong-The Largest Old Tomb Park
Daeneungwon located at Hwangnam-dong is the largest old tomb park where the ancient tombs of the Silla Period are crowded.
Total 23 tombs including Cheonmachong which yielded plenty of relics, Tomb of King Michu where the 13th king of the Silla Dynasty lies and Hwangnamdaechong which is 80 meters long and 25 meters high are soaring in this park designated Historic Site No.175.
In particular, if you visit Cheonmachong, the only tomb which the inside is open to the pubic, you can appreciate the wall painting and the relics such as a gold crown and accessories excavated from this mound.
