In their radical voice, Rational Expectations theorists sound like they just leaped off the pages of Marvel comic strips. If one assumes that people always act fully rationally, why not also credit them with X-ray vision and the ability to fly?
In the radical form, Rational Expectations theory gives us a model too perfect for the real world. We certainly can't ignore the discrepancies.
