1) ‘뇌사(Brain death)’란 ?
뇌의 기능이 완전히 파괴되어 호흡과 심장박동 등 생명현상을 주관하는 뇌간의 기능이 정지되고, 기타 장기의 모든 기능이 중지될 수 밖에 없는 뇌기능의 불가역적 상태.
