Chapter 1. CEMTool Experiment
1. OBJECT
- Learn the functions of CEMTool for control of an inverted pendulum or other plant.
(CEMTool & SIMTool are made in SNU control laboratory in 1999)
2. THEORY
1) CEMTool Running
- CEM>>: Commands that is used in CEM mode.
- M>>: Commands that is used in M mode.
2) Symbols Used in CEMTool
This program uses symbols, functions, libraries, calculations a lot similar to that of MATLAB program.
-Calculation: +, -, *, /, ^ could be used. If we attach a dot ‘.’ in front of these calc signs, we can proceed the situation element-wise. i.e [2,3].+[3,4]=[5,7]
3) Vector and Matrix
-Basic: We can interpret vector using parenthesis of ‘[ ]’. Semicolon ‘;’ separates each elements in row of matrix.

- Learn the functions of SIMTool for control of an inverted pendulum or other plant.
(CEMTool & SIMTool are made in SNU control laboratory in 1999.)
2. THEORY
1) The functions of SIMTool can be executed with CEMTool running. Therefore, SIMTool must be executed while CEMTool is running in order to simulate using SIMTool and to connect with hardware. The executable file for SIMTool is simtool.exe in the \"X: \ cemtool \ bin \\" directory. The files in the task pane are saved as files with the extension \"BLK\", and other environment files are stored in the \"X: \ cemtool \ simtool \\" directory.
