TV is one of media by which people acquire information. This is regarded as the most easy but crucial to use.
News program(Report program) among TV programs has much influence upon people's thinking ways with verified reliabilities.
Especially with the younger generation who will take responsibility of our future, we should put more emphasis on the importance of TV medium.
So this paper attempts to overview such news programs that show people real events which happen in daily life. study haw much influence the suggestiveness and violence from those programs have on the younger generation and look for possible improvements of those programs.
Through this research I tried to find the problems and make a contribution for providing TV viewers including young people with the information of good quality.
In first way, the concepts of image media and psychological theories of its suggestiveness and violence were investigated as the background of this paper.
And in second way through previous studies, the relationship between media and younger generation. and cases in foreign countries have been over viewed.
In third, in case studies of this paper, viewers TV viewing action and recent contents of news programs of each broadcasting companies are investigated.
And the types of juvenile delinquency in recent years and its change are investigated together.
Through the process above, I consequently talk about the desirable directions of improvement for news programs.
