(1) What Is the Low k Material?
- Dielectric constant(유전상수) k 가 낮은 물질
▶ Dielectric constant(κ) – 재료의 Electric Polarization 에 대한 물리적 척도
Ex) Vacuum (or Air) : k=1 , SiO2 : k=4, Diamond : k=5.5-6.6

일반적으로 반도체에 있어서 dielectric material은 크게 두 가지 경우에 있어서 사용되고 있다.
그 하나가 capacitor dielectric material (High-k 응용)이고 나머지가 interlevel dielectric material (ILD:Low-k 응용)
