y imports or disappearance would be diminishing series toward a new equilibrium level if an exogenous variable change. The dynamic theory specifies the relations among the variables at different points of time and thus yield the time paths of the endogenous variables as solutions to the system after initial exogenous shocks are over.
This study is concerned with the evolution of economic variables through time with the determination of the time paths or time functions of economic variables. A dynamic theory is quite often obtained by introducing certain time delays. The time path of each market stage for each commodity by changes in the explanatory variables is derived. Then the magnitude of the market response for each time period can be calculated in a definite numerical value, and hence long-tem adjustment process of each market can be explicitly displayed.
In addition, dynamic solution answers the questions concerning the influence of actual changes in th exogenous variavles of the system. It is interested in the effect of changes in the values of exogenous variables that actually did take place during the study period under observation, thus it is possible to trace these conveniently. The estimated changes in eah market due to current and past changes in the variables of interest will be obtained.
After the theory to derived the model is developed, the dynamic theory focused on the purpose of this study and methodology to be used are explored and systematically organized in chapter Ⅱ. The estimated model is fully discussed in chapter Ⅲ, and short-run and long-run elasticities are computed and examined. In chapter Ⅳ, dynamic analysis for the time path of each endogenous variables and for the relative importance or contribution of each exogenous variables to changes in imports and disappearance of each commodity si explicitly investigated. Some simulation experiments of changes in prices, reduction in income, and increase in meat consumption are performed to examine the historical tracks after those actually took place. Then the summary and conclusions are followed in chapter Ⅴ.

첫 박사학위를 수여 받은지도 벌써 여러 해가 지나갔다. 이제 그 이전에 시작했던 과정을 마무리 짓고자 뒤늦게 시작한 두 번째 학위 논문을 완성하는데 부족함이 많아 여러 분들의 많은 도움이 있었다. 또 첫 학위논문은 영어로, 이번 논문은 국문으로 작성하게 된 결코 흔치 않을 묘한 경험도 하게 되었다.
첫 논문을 타계하신 어머님 영전에 바쳤으나, 이 논문 또한 잇달아 어머님 영전에 바쳐 생전에 아들의 박사취득을 보시지 못하게 한 불효를 두 개의 박사학위로 일부나마 감하고 싶다. 어릴 적부터 지금까지 지난 수십년간의 기억을 떠올리며 어머님을 얼마나 그리워하고 사랑하는가를 아버님과 더불어 전해 드리고 싶다.
