공황이 터지자 마자 나온 책인지 상기할 필요가 있다. 또한 1929년의 대공황이 현재까지도 지속적인 연구의 대상이 되고 있는 것과 마찬가지로 한국의 이번 공황이 한국의 경제학자들에게 향후 상당 기간동안 중요한 연구의 대상이 되어야 할 것이다. 현 시점에서 등장하는 재빠른 진단과 처방들은 향후 연구에서 해명해야 할 자료에 불과하다고 생각된다.
